Stand G080

Bliss & Reels is bringing Danish partner Lachenmeier and its stretch hood equipment to AUSPACK 2019.

The two companies will host live demonstrations of the automated stretch hood solution, featuring a variety of palletised products. Tony Butler, sales manager at Lachenmeier, will join Bliss & Reels on the stand; he says that Lachenmeier’s solution can optimise the stability of palletised loads and reduce costs at the same time.

“Being on the market since 1969, and operating globally, Lachenmeier understands the growing and rapidly changing demands of the packaging industry,” he says. “With our presence at Auspack 2019 we will show manufacturers how they can benefit from changing to a Lachenmeier stretch hooding solution in a dynamic marketplace.”

According to Lachenmeier, its automated pallet wrapping solutions deliver lower material and packaging costs with associated load protection and sustainability benefits. These solutions provide increased throughput and productivity, better load protection for less damage, lower costs through waste reduction, while requiring less labour, the company claims.

Bliss & Reels is one of the region’s largest machinery suppliers, and has experience selling commissioning and servicing a wide variety of production machinery for the steel, concrete, asphalt, and timber industries. It supplies a range of Lachenmeier equipment for packaging applications, and the two companies will each have representatives on the stand to discuss with customers how these solutions can help packaging businesses.

The knowledge and experience of Lachenmeier in end-of-line packaging solutions is backed by the Lachenmeier Stretch Hood Excellence Centre in the Denmark headquarters and other facilities around the world, the company says.
