CPS packs in flexibility and simplicityPosted on March 14th, 2019 in News
Case Packing Systems will show off its model CLP case packer, which it bills as a compact and flexible pick and place case-packing machine, at AUSPACK 2019.
The CLP automatically loads products into plastic crates, corrugated cases, or open-top trays. According to CPS, because product buffering does not take place, the CLP is suitable to handle a large variety of different products, which can be rigid, semi-rigid or flexible.
CPS says the CLP is commonly used to pack MAP, VSP and overwrapped trays; vacuum packs; flow wrapped packs; punnets; clam shells; tubs; inner cartons; and larger flexible bags. It has applications in industries such as fresh poultry meats and value add products, fresh fish, fresh fruit/vegetable, convenience foods, and dried fruit and nut, the company adds.
Features include stainless steel construction and a diagnostic system for faults and production reporting. The infeed system is capable of turning or not turning products, which CPS claims offers a huge variety of packing patterns and the best footprint utilisation for fixed plastic crates or open top trays.
