Global Focus at AUSPACK 2019Posted on February 7th, 2019 in MEDIA RELEASES, News
International exhibitors will make up a sizeable contingent of the companies exhibiting at AUSPACK 2019 in March, bringing innovations from all over the world.
AUSPACK has grown over the past decade, and this growth and success has seen it play an increasingly prominent role in the Asia-Pacific packaging and processing machinery markets, says Mark Dingley, APPMA chair.
“The progression and development in this part of the world has drawn increased global attention, and thus led to higher levels of interest and participation by international exhibitors.
“At AUSPACK 2017, there were 87 international exhibitors among the 351 exhibiting companies. AUSPACK 2019 is our largest ever, with an additional 1,500m2 of exhibition space helping to accommodate the 100 international exhibitors,” Dingley says.
As part of this international focus, AUSPACK 2019 will include a dedicated Italian pavilion among its other global exhibitors. This pavilion will host companies such as SMI S.p.A (stand G100) with its new “ultra-compact” Ecobloc K Ergon combi system, and the Processing & Packaging the High-Tech Italian Way Network (stand E031), comprising Cama Group, Clevertech, Makro Labelling, Ronchi Packaging Machinery, Tosa Group, and Universal-Pack.
“Italy has a large number of packaging and processing machinery manufacturers, with many being current suppliers into Australia,” says Dingley. “Australia, and indeed the APAC region, is important for their ongoing growth so they’re keen to attend, while there are many other Italian suppliers who are looking for business-growth opportunities Down Under.
“AUSPACK 2019 is the perfect vehicle for all these businesses.”
Italy isn’t the only European country represented. Sidel Group (E238) (multinational founded in France, HQ in Italy, and part of Swedish giant Tetra Laval) will showcase its latest solutions for case packing, product handling, and labelling; Dinies (B014) from Germany will exhibit its range of UV tunnels for sterilisation, while Lagarde Autoclaves (C254) of France will have a variety of retort systems on show as well as its new online portal.
It wouldn’t be an Asia-Pacific show without some representation from our own backyard, of course, and there’ll be plenty on display from our neighbours in the region.
These include Indian companies Manipal Digital Systems (F010) and Shako Flexipack (A236), Thai firm Louis Adhesive Tapes (B242), and Malaysian Tomypak Flexible Packaging (B116). Japanese manufacturer Taisei Lamick (D242) will also be on hand with its range of Dangan Astron single-lane liquid sachet fillers.
For everything you need to know about the latest and greatest in packaging solutions from home and abroad, it’s hard to look past AUSPACK 2019.
