Opal’s Linerless Box addresses the problem of poly entrapment with beef trim while also fulfilling sustainability challenges around removing plastic poly from packaging. The leakproof design uses a food contact certified non-poly coating to provide moisture barrier properties and excellent meat release. Our patented design runs through a high-speed erector that reduces the frequency of cartons catching on conveyors between filling and lidding points. The non-poly material used in our boxes are fully recyclable and eliminates the need for the end user to dispose of the poly waste from traditional frozen meat boxes. Suitable for various protein and seafood products.
