Water Activated Tape (WAT) is a 100% biodegradable and 100% recyclable alternative to plastic packaging tape. The unique materials consist of a combination of natural kraft papers and starch-based adhesives (eco-glue) to create a secure, strong, and 100% eco-friendly seal. It can be applied by running a wet cloth or sponge over the tape or by using a handy Water Activated Tape Dispenser. Moisture activates the adhesive to penetrate the fibres of the carton/cardboard and secures the package. It's effective, easy to use, and most importantly, offers the same security and strength as plastic packaging tape. It also doesn't need to be removed from the cardboard or carton when recycling.
