Clean sustainable power: The real future

18 May 2022
Theatre 1, Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre
Renewable Energy

We all have a part to play in achieving the 2050 Net Zero Emissions Target.  To date, for the most part, there has been a misinformed belief that batteries and electrification will be our solution to everything from vehicles, to plant and equipment, to major power distribution.  There are particular companies and individuals that gain significant financial benefits from propagating this belief in the media.

Whilst batteries will have a place in the total energy future landscape, they certainly are not the solution for all applications.  This presentation will help identify suitable applications for batteries and then introduce tangible alternative energy solutions that will complete the energy requirements moving towards a Road to Zero. Join this session for key takeaways to:

  • Identify tangible energy supply solutions across a broad range of applications
  • Introduce alternative Zero Emission concepts
  • Introduce future Solar / Mains / Generator combinations and opportunities
Speakers
Darren Phipps, Regional Business Manager - Power Products - JCB
Mike Corbett, National Generator Manager - PR Power
