Writer and presenter of ABC's 'War on Waste' and 'The Chaser'

Craig Reucassel is a speaker, writer and comedian best known for his work on ABC’s TV program War on Waste and with The Chaser. Craig formed The Chaser while studying law with colleagues Julian Morrow, Dominic Knight and Chas Licciardello.

While producing their satirical newspaper, The Chaser team also created and starred in several programs on ABC TV, including The Election Chaser, CNNNN, The Chaser’s War on Everything, Yes We Canberra and The Hamster Wheel. Craig has also appeared on ABC in The Chaser’s Media Circus, The Chaser’s Election Desk and The Checkout.

Craig was born in South Africa and moved to Australia at a young age. He attended Bowral Public School and Bowral High School, then the University of Sydney, graduating with honours in Bachelor of Economics (Social Science) and Bachelor of Laws.

He has co-hosted the triple j shows Today Today, Bloody Sunday and The Race Race with fellow Chaser member Chris Taylor. In 2016 he performed in David Williamson’s Jack of Hearts at The Ensemble.
