Director - Market Knowledge
Dick Heintz commenced his career in packaging in 1998 as protective packaging business manager for Benelux at Ranpak Europe, introducing the brand into Australia in 2003. Noticing the need in the Australia and New Zealand markets for new technologies, Dick launched the non-compressed airbag technology with FP International (Flopak). In 2006 he became co-owner and sales director at Intellipack Asia Pacific, which successfully introduced and penetrated the market with both Storopack and Intellipack packaging systems.
As e-commerce started to evolve Dick recognized the opportunity for 3D packaging systems. In collaboration with ABBE-Corrugated/Box On Demand Australia, Dick introduced Panotec and CMC Machinery to the Australia and New Zealand markets and also launched E3NEO (Cut’it EVO) to offer 2D packaging formats. This technology has been successfully deployed by Catch Group, CottonOn Group, Toll, DHL and many other companies operating in the e-fulfilment space.
