Lauren studied Agricultural Science at Murdoch University and completed her Honours in Meat Science Technology. During her time at university, Lauren worked in the Murdoch Meat Science Research team on a range of projects for beef and sheep. She also completed the Intercollegiate Meat Judging Program in 2018 and competed as part of the Australian National Team in the USA.

She started her career in a beef processing facility in Western Australia and is passionate about connecting people to the agricultural and red meat industries as well as the extension and adoption of research and development to improve productivity and efficiency across the industry.
