Michael Grima is a packaging design & innovation specialist with 29 year’s industry experience covering Senior Design and innovation roles for Kambrook, Cryovac Sealedair, Outerspace Design and Mondelez.
He is the founder of qDesign Enterprises – a Packaging Design and Innovation firm – and also runs a second start-up – The Pack Collective – who provide Customer and User Experience solutions for Service based industries. In both forms the “Human Experience” is central to their thinking.
Michael and his team have won +50 local and international design awards in the packaging and design fields including 9x WPO WordStar awards starting with the Golden Circle Juice Bottle – Australia’s inaugural winner – back in 2012.
A keen life learner, runner, cross-fitter, traveller and photographer, Michael’s other packaging involvements include past National President of the Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP), a half day trainer for “Design for Accessibility” and Senior judge for the past PCA, Packaging Design Awards. He is currently the Course curator and Senior lecturer of the Design Elective for the University of Melbourne’s “Master of Food and Packaging Innovation” course.
