Dr. Owen Hogan is the MBA Director and a lecturer in innovation and entrepreneurship at Southern Cross University. His professional experience spans music, agriculture, government, and higher education, and he has successfully founded two businesses within the creative industries. Dr Hogan’s multidisciplinary research is centred on facilitating innovation ecosystems to address significant challenges and collaboratively generate new societal value. His published works cover public management, strategy, the circular economy, and sustainability. Dr Hogan recently led an AMPC industry grant initiative, exploring business scenarios for Australian red meat processors to divert plastics from landfill. Presently, he is involved in developing program resources for the NSW EPA to assist businesses and the community in their transition towards plastics circularity.
