Tom has been active with driving innovation and process improvement after an extensive career in managing businesses in Australia and overseas. He has been involved in several start-ups and has actively mentored within the CSIRO ON program since 2015. He mentors several SME businesses and runs 2 successful consultancies focused on process improvement and in driving improved profitability for business. He is well known for using extensive global networks to add value to business partners to drive productivity improvement adding value for everyone involved. He is focused on developing processes that have real impact on improving use of resources. His latest venture is with VortAIR which is an autogenous grinding system that can produce fine materials to 15 micron size with causing any heat degradation.
