Result Group, through our longtime partner Herma Germany, will be launching a new range of Self Adhesive Labelers at AUSPACK 2017. The Herma range of labelers is not new to the Australasian market with many machines installed all over the region, what is new in the extension of the C series systems that will be showcased in Sydney.
All Herma’s machines have one thing in common, the SERVO MOTOR driven label head. Unique to this part of the world, Servo Motors are far superior to the standard stepper type motor used in other applicators. More accurate, able to handle high fluctuations in line speed and most importantly almost maintenance free, the benefits to manufacturers are simply endless.
Result Group Business Unit Manager – Product ID, Michael Harrop says, “Time and time again, we have either updated an old labeler or retro-fitted a Herma label head and our customer are not just satisfied, they realize savings in production set-up, servicing cost and downtime and ease of use they have never been able to realize before. Performance is simply driving repeat purchase”
The Herma C Series comprises a range of Top, Bottom, Top and Bottom as well as Side and Two Side Self Adhesive Labelers. Also in the range is a Wrap Around Labeler as well as C Wrap, D Wrap and even Full Wrap Systems. No matter what the system, all machines comprise of conveyor based handling systems and stands all made from standard components. This means the systems can be built quickly and remain flexible to fit within an existing production line. The Herma 400 SERVO driven Label Head is used in all of the machine configurations so accuracy and reliability are a given.
Designed and built in Germany and Assembled in Australia, the systems are airfreighted efficiently and landed to be more than commercially viable to the market. Long gone are the days when everything in foreign markets is designed from scratch, a Herma machine can be configured with a customer inside an hour and shipped within a remarkably short time frame. The customers still see the benefit of German engineering but without the hearty price tag that goes with it.
Markets such as Meat and Seafood Packaging, Fresh Produce, Confectionery, Bakery and Personal Care customers the world over have seen the benefits of the Herma C Series machines. With an entry level price point and extreme performance output and reliability the Herma is well worth a look when at Auspack 2017.
